Corporate Sponsored Workshops

Workshops offer the corporate client the opportunity to provide supporting levels of employees with important and high value needed support to their efforts to successfully transitioning to their next position. There is always a pressing need for accurate and proven tools, techniques, and approaches that really work. We provide both 1, 2 and 3 day programs to our corporate client companies. These workshops are targeted for administrative services and support, skilled technical workers, general services and entry level supervisory groups. The content of these programs is designed around the needs of the targeted group and the client company level of support objectives. The content includes but is not limited to the following:

• Effective self-presentation

  

• Resume writing

  

• Understanding the job market

  

• Self-marketing tools and techniques

  

• Letter writing

  

• Effective use of internet tools

  

• Networking skill development and applications

  

• Interviewing skills and techniques

  

• Salary and benefits negotiations

  

• Search campaign closure

  

• Future career management strategies
 

Former employees that successfully transition to a new job, are more likely to provide positive comments and recommendations to family member, friends and the general public. This helps to protect the company’s or organization’s image, both internally and to the general public, that can be critical in attracting future employees to the company.

Such workshops can be offered on-site for the separating employees prior to their last day at work. This approach tends to make the departing of the laid off employees less stressful for both those employees and the employees being left behind. These workshops can also be offered off site at the company or organization’s discretion. The workshop size is usually limited to eight (8) participants, with a maximum of fifteen (15) per session.

Workshops have proven to be a high added benefit for both the departing employees and the sponsoring companies. Since the need for workshops can be immediate and with little time for preparation and notice, HRCC is able to provide them with little notice.
