"I consulted with Mr. Homer Reid to help me make the transition back into the challenging world of job search after my company announced a workforce reduction.  I had been out of the job market over the past five years and I was not ready for interviews and job search again.  I got settled down in my present job and did not think that I would be forced to go to the job market in a hurry.  Anyway, I updated my resume and started testing the job market, but then found out that I was not getting any response and I wondered why this was so given my attractive work background.  This is when I made contact with Mr. Reid and I was shocked and impressed by his comments and advice he gave me during my first sitting with him.  He walked through my resume with me and pointed out very key changes and catch words and phrases that were not adequately highlighted, even though the information was on the resume.
